The Historical Society of Lee’s Summit maintains a museum in the 1939 Post Office building at 220 SW Main Street, in downtown Lee’s Summit. The museum houses a number of historic artifacts, such as maps and photos of early Lee’s Summit. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Entrance to the museum is $5.00. Children 12 and younger, as well as, members are free. https://leessummitmuseum.com/
