A special tribute to veterans is on display at the History Museum now through the end of November. The exhibit includes Lee’s Summit veterans’ uniforms for each branch of military service. Artwork from current Lee’s Summit resident, Sgt. S.J. Stout, is also on display. Stout is a retired 20 year veteran of the U.S. Marines and U.S. Navy. He was an artist for the military newspaper Stars & Stripes.
Admission to the Lee’s Summit History Museum will be free for veterans and active military on Veterans Day, November 11.
